About Speedy Pete's Internet Directory
History
This internet directory was setup in 1995 by internet pioneer Peter Speed. When the service launched, our server was situated in an ordinary garden shed in the UK. Amazingly, 17 years on we are still based in that very same shed. We soon hope to move to a new, more spacious office and upgrade our internet computer.
How does it work?
We keep a record of almost every website there is on the internet, when you tell us what you're looking for, one of our highly trained search agents will check our files for the website you are looking for and we don't have "speedy" in our name for nothing, we'll get back to you within minutes!

When are we open?
Our UK office is currently staffed between 9am and 10pm, during this time our search agents are available to take your requests. Out of these hours you can try our new, experimental, automated search service or view the list of recent user's searches.
